so by you being biased from the get go, means whatever other brand of deadener thats thrown in this thread will not be up to your standards???? am i right? so by you saying your biased towards SS, why am i to think AT isnt a good product vs SS???

Not really. Im looking at it objectively. If SS paid for the test to be done there is no reason that test wouldnt be biased towards SS in the same way it is here against AT.

i own both ss and at and i am very happy with both companies products... granted alphadamp is a little higher quality but price is also alot higher(tho mine was free).. i am happy with my AT 60mil AND I would recommend it to anybody that wants deadner and I would also recommend SS they both make great products.. going either route you will get a quality deadner.

i see what your saying and your probably right BUT you would think if your paying for something like this you would want ACCURATE results..not results biased like that..if so the tests arent really worth a **** either way and your not getting waht you paid for

You would, but we all know that wont happen. Until someone is going to do a test that has no loyalty to any company nobody will know who is the best. For me I pick SS because they are constantly offering give aways (Ive spent $60 on my deadener, the rest has been won), the knowledge at SS is superior to most other companies (not counting SDS), and the product is great.

I will never ever believe any "test'' done by anyone. They are all bullshit whether they are meant to be or not. Buy what you like and let us buy what we like. Do we really need to all run the same stuff?

yeah thats something i give an advantage to ss over at is with giveaways..did you get your alphadamp yet i remember you were going to order some? i am very happy with mine did my doors with it and that ccf you told me about.. sound 200x better.. i did my entire trunk with 75sq ft of AT tho and it worked extremely well also.. need to seal up two spaces with polyfil or something and close em off with deadner tho..

I did order it. Havent had a chance to install any yet. Ive been sick for over a week. I havent even had a chance to play around with my Audio System Twister F6 amp yet.
