ch 1 and ch2 reading different

i am unsure of this but since i am finally running comps and setting my gains with a test tone ch 1 and ch 2 are running 1 volt different from one another

its a zx850.4 and i have the first 2 channels running my comps on passive anyway

i am getting 23 volts for ch1 and 24 volts for ch 2 what would be causing this

i havent tried ch 3 and 4 to see if they do the same or not

but whats the reason anyway to fix

ch1 and ch2 read about 1volt apart but ch3 and 4 are fine and dont do that

why is ch 1 and 2 doing that

Not all amps will put out the same power on both channels. Nothing you can do about it since I doubt you have separate gains for all channels.

Check the settings on the deck and make sure it isn't fading front to rear and that the balance is on zero.....

Its actually more common than one would think. It wont make any audible difference.
