Cerwin Vega Stroker 2000.1, who knows about these?

I can't find any info through the forums about the stroker amps. The subs on the other hand there is a ton of info. Does anyone know anything about these series amps and if so how does the 2000.1 compare. I have a chance to trade one of my amps for this and want to know if there are any negatives with the stroker amp.

btw, we need more info, like what is YOUR amp...

And its gonna be hard to get 2k out of it bc its rated at 14.4... u better have nasty electrical to maintain 14.4 constantly...

Regardless, they aren't worth it at $500 a pop (cheapest I could fine online).

yup thats the amp. everything is getting pieced together slowly. As for electrical a second battery will be going in and big 3 with 1/0 wire for now and proceed from there. I have two Soundstream T5's so currently I can really only run them at 2ohms 1500wrms if I go with that amp. I am looking to swap out subs though possibly before I even through all this in. The amp i have currently is a MA audio HK802sx. Problem with it though is it doesn't fit behind my seat on the wall of my truck. I am not looking to bang all the time, just have the power on hand for when I want to.

Buy an MB Quart Discus/Onyx, or a Soundstream DTR amp. Much better for the money.

If i can sell it outright I will but so far I have been getting a lot of trade options from people for the HK. Is it a fair trade at least or should I ask for extra?

Used? Hmmm...Depends on the condition. I would imagine at least $300 to the right buyer, but the problem will be finding the right buyer...

Here's what you should do. Throw it on ebay for a starting bid of $250 and see what happens!

So is it worth the trade of my hk802sx or should I hold onto what I have for now till a better deal comes around? The hk802 is just collecting dust now because it won't fit where it needs to go and so far there have only been trades offered up instead of buying it in full. I guess I need to know is it a fair deal across the board, hk802sx for stroker 2000.1?
