Yeah go in the store and feel both of them. Open it then try to wiggle the top back and forth. The cheap one moves like no other phone...it's a pile o shiot. (and I'm drunk) and the platinum works perfect. Almost completely no movement but of course out of a manufacturing plant of making them they're gonna have some play. Like I did with your gf last night. (Not referring to david only) I'm referring the reader of right now. Muhahaha I'm halarious. Yeah I know you're laughing don't deny it.

Notice how everyone here that actually OWNS a Razr likes it? I've had mine for about 2 weeks now.. and haven't had any problems at all. Its by far the best phone i've ever owned.. and just gets even better with Mobile Phone Tools.

people swear how week they are, but ive dropped mine atleast 10times and still works perfect

i have dropped my blck razr on pavement at least 5 times and its still not even scratched and it has dropped from some fairly high places and has dropped while open also

I would have got a razr but verizon didn't offer on- so I got the e815

My friend just got a RAZR.

I personally like the a900 better. It has a swivel camera

Yea, I must say the Samsung A900 is pretty sweet - (Yes, I do own one).

EV-DO (aka wireless broadband) is just frickin' awesome for doing any web browsing, music or video streaming. Has one of the best sounding speakerphones I have heard, not Sanyo or Motorola loud, but definitely better sounding. It has a great camera, it is a bit thinner than the RAZR, not nearly as ugly as a RAZR, and by no means a rip off of it, it's a completely different phone, and its features pretty much blow away the RAZR in every way, better camera, better screen, better call quality over the built-in headset, better build quality and finish, list goes on.... I paid $150.00 after all my upgrade rebates. Unfortuntately it is a CDMA phone, incompatible with Cingular/AT&T's GSM network. Nonetheless, a sweet phone, I will be hanging on to this one for a while.

just stay away from the rockr my friend has one its ugly as hell doesnt hold that many songs doesnt get loud but what can i say i have a nokia 6620 (there tank of a video phone)
