i have a motorola v60 but the antena broke off so now i barely get service

i looked on ebay and phones are still really expensive on there

i already have a plan so i dont think i can get a discount through my service (at&t)

does anyone know where to buy cheaper cell phones, thanks

i also need a keyless entry remote (like the ones from the factory) with unlock, lock and the panic button, any place to get those cheap too?? its a 1997 ford ranger

ya, IMO sprints service is goofy about cutting in and out when you are not on the phone. when you are on it, its pretty clear and everything. price is pretty high for what you actually get. try looking at us cellular. you get an insane ammount of minutes for what half of what sprint would charge you for.

I will second that one. I call when the phone says 9:00PM so I use my night and weekend minutes and when my bill comes it says I called at 8:59; it then charges me for anytime minutes until I hang up.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/mad.gif.c18f003ab0ef8a0d9c27ca78d77a6392.gif Sprint can go **** itself with it's service.

Credit cards and cell phones are the worst investments you can ever make, IMO. Unless you are very careful, you will get screwed and you will have to pay more than you expected.

You can get the antenna repaired. I dont know about your phone, but on my crappy nokia POS, I broke the antenna off and it only cost $5 to replace it. Pretty well worth it compared to $200 for a new phone. :-D

Antenna repair costs will depend on the type of phone you have. GSM phones don't need great antennas to get good reception, but CDMA phones (such as the v60) do. AT&T, Verizon, and Sprint all use CDMA, btw.

I have both a Sprint and Verizon phone, and the Sprint service is aweful. The whole idea that Sprint PCS service is more clear than other CDMA services is bunk. While PCS is higher bandwidth (allowing more interesting wireless web features), their digital network is a joke. Unless you live in one of the few areas fully covered by the Sprint PCS digital network, you will spend more time on analog (which is far from clear). My Verizon phone on the other hand has excelent digital service everywhere I go. Sometimes it is a little slow switching from one tower to the next, but I've only lost reception a couple of times while driving through areas that my Sprint phone would have run away screaming at.

AT&T's network is second best in terms of coverage area, followed by the GSM providers (Nextel, T-Mobile, Cingular, etc). Then, dead last in my experience, would be Sprint's digital coverage. If you lock the phone into only using digital mode, and drive across the country, you're going to be screwed.

yes i do work for sprint....i actually work in the wireless web tech department.......worked in the customer service side there for a while....and if your having a problem w/ making calls at 8:59....why not wait till your phone says 9:05 before u make a call??? and as for them being high.....they are a tad on the high side when it comes to plans and mins.....but they are getting better on that.......they have the coolest phones out there tho.....and ifyour having a problem w/ your signal fading in and out what i'd suggest is getting a s/w flash and a prl update....most likly have an old version of both.....if u have any questions about sprint feel free to ask....

well on the prl update.....jus hit me up sometime when im on aim....or email me ur phone number goddyd4me@hotmail.com and i'll enter it in the system to get the update.....as for software update it would be done at a sprint store....

go to ebay and search for cell phones and click on lowest prices and they should have those adapters that you put on your phone on there for betta service..

Do those 'cell phone antennae booster' things that you attach to your battery actually work?
