CDTs vs. Kappa perfect..are they really perfect?

Hey guys, looking for opinions here....the shop guys who put in my amp today were talking bad about my CDT's (am getting those put in tomorrow at another shop since it's custom job). They were going on and on about Kappa's and Kappa perfects....I have never owned or heard kappa's, how do you think they compare against the CDT EF line? I would have felt silly asking this question a few days ago, but they were talking so much smack about CDTs.

seems like just another case of "ive never heard of it, it must ****". enlighten us as to why they said they ****.

Yeah, every infinity speaker I've listened to has exaggerated highs and no midbass. Fegs just don't think CDT is balla.

i bet you if you showed them a RE XXX a couple years ago, they would of told you "take that flea market shit outta here"

take the exact same driver into a retail shop today and "oh noezzz the REzzzz are here! wow, best sub everz!"

im not saying the CDT's are the best, but i am giving a reason as to why its so hard to take any retail store employees seriously.

ive had the perfect 6.1's and now have the cdt hd-62 and they blow the infinity's out of the water... the have more of a natural warm sound and great midbass.
