Item(s) for Sale:

CDT HD Series tweeters (pair)

Item(s) Description/Condition:

These were purchased as stand alone for a fully active set up, so I do not have crossovers for them. I also do not have the actual CDT mounting cups, but may be able to find something to use to send with them. They sounded great, but sold the car and no longer have a use. 10/10 cosmetically and functionality

Price:

$60 shipped to your door. Negotiable and open to offers

Shipping and Miscellaneous Item Information:

Sellers covers shipping

Item Pictures:

(List pictures in this section, 1st picture should be your username/date if you have less than 10 positive feedbacks with the i-Trader system or less than 10 references that you have sold to in the past. CORRECTION

I posted these as CDT HD series tweeters, which is incorrect. Thank you 5.3bowtie, as I was researching the info you requested, I realized that I had listed these wrong. They are actually tweeters from CDT CL-6.1 component set. I purchased the set new from Trumpet on here, sans crossovers. I was running them in a full active set up (MS8) crossed over at 1500hz, 80 watts 4 ohm and never had a bit of issue. They did well for about 3 months, then I sold the car, pulled them out and placed them in baggies, where they have lived since. They are silk dome and a have a warm, natural sound (in my opinion). I have had metal dome tweets and absolutely prefer the sound of silk domes, but that's just personal preference. I did either loose the cups for them, or left them in the car, not sure which one. I also have a set up upstage UP-5100i that has never been installed, only tested. they are a tad smaller than the CL's and do not have crossovers either. I will sell either one for the price listed above. I prefer to keep one set. I hope this helps, bowtie. Any other questions, feel free to ask.

Thank you, Trumpet!!

Not sure if you remember, but a couple years ago, I bought a CDT comp set and the upstage tweeters from you on here. Initial plan was to keep the upstage and sell these. Nothing is wrong with them, and actually like them myself, but trying to clean out some things that are collecting dust. I have had many people asking questions about these as far as specs, but I do not know the specifics. I had them installed as listed above. Perhaps you can shed a light on the exact model number and specs?

MAkahveli - Hopefully Trumpet can clear up the questions a bit. They are not 1" pro series tweeters. They are actually about 1 5/8" in diameter. I took some pics that show some closer detail of the tweets. Also included them compared to the upstage tweeter. Forgive me on exact measurements, the battery in my caliper is dead and I dont have a spare. In the pics with 3 tweeters, the upstage is the smaller one with the silver back.

The CL-61 tweeters are TV-25. The WS-100i UpStage tweeters are the same as DRT-26 except the housing is entirely different for the unique mounting solution. WS-100i is an excellent tweeter. With some creativity you could mount them in a panel, but the intended mounting is with double-sided tape with the tweeters at the top corners of the windshield aimed down at the center of the dash.
