CDT Tweeter placement in convertible...

I am mounting a set of the CDT CL-61 in my wifes convertible BMW. The CDT tweeters will not fit in the factory location and was wondering if placing them in the a-pillar would be any benefit? Am i better making it work in the factory location or installing in the a-pillar?

Thanks

I was not sure if it was ok to seperate the midbass and the tweeter that much, is it best to aim the tweeter at the middle of windscreen or to passengers?

Thanks!

if you do put it in the A pillar i'd suggest getting the LP-1 remote for it. This will help control the overall volume of the tweet more than the -3db on the crossover which will help ensure it won't overpower the midrange. Also if your HU has it i'd suggest using some time alignment on it
