CDT Setup?

I've been running CDT speakers continuously in my car for 2-1/2 years, and I've been doing gradual improvements on sound deadening at the same time. As I keep improving the acoustics of my doors the woofers have proven to be held back by poor enclosures(bare doors with the sound bouncing around inside are a big no-no). Better EQ can do wonders as well, but that can't compensate for an inadequately prepared door, assuming that's where your woofers are mounted.

The CDT QES subs get a lot louder in the same or less air space than the HD CF subs, but the CF subs sound very, very nice. I don't recommend components in the back. CDT has a wide selection of 6.5" coaxials that can be built with your choice of tweeter dome material on the DRT-26 models. They are built on request. DRT-26CXA, for example, uses the DRT-26 aluminum tweeters. The SQA black top amplifiers are rumored to be a Zed design, but regardless they're very nice. The mono amp is Class AB.
