No they are 4 ohm, I used the CDT DRT 25/26 upstage kit tweets. I think and extended range tweeter would be best as they play very low!

I am in cenral NJ Edison area. I really do not know about the OEM ones. But i can tell you the $700 ES-07 sevens i just bought do not sound all that different. These are the extended range midbass drivers. They have very very good midbass and extended midrange response. Just bought the CDT ES-07 set, so you know i am partial to CDT but I can not comment on ones compared to the

OEMS. I think they sound awesome!
