CDT HD or Boston Pro

can't comment on the cdts. however, i'm currently running the pro60's off a memphis mc300 and couldn't be happier. had to attenuate the tweets by 4dbs on the crossover though, was way too bright at flat and just a tad too bright for my tastes at -2db. it all depends on the install though anyway.

Too bad you dont live close to me. I have the HDs ran off the Memphis mc300 //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

I love them.

I've heard both in good setups, I didn't think the Z6's were worth the extra money. They did sound better, but not for the price point. I really can't see you being disappointed.

He had the Pro's..

He's only mentioned them (in numerous posts) about 500 times or so.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

Me thinks it was this.. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

And you's would be correct //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

It was an Eclipse 34230 (excellent, excellent amp, btw). Rated 370w x 2 @ 4ohm...will actually do right around 400w x 2 @ 4ohm. I really want to buy it back from my buddy I sold it too...... //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif Hopefully he'll let it go, since he's going to college and will be broke for the next 2 years, and he's not currently using it.

hmm not the debate is if i want to stick with the pros or drop almost twice as much for the Z's and are the Z's worth the extra money

Heh.....depends on how much money you want to spend. You can get the Pro' to sound very, very nice......but, if you do have the money to spend, I'd get the Z's. However, that's only if you really have the money to spend. Otherwise I'd be happy with the Pro's
