Does anyone have experience with these speakers? I just saw them listed for $299.99. It kind of piqued my interest a little.

its the older yellow cone model. In 60-90 days cdt will release the new style ES series. With the M6 midbass driver out there it made the older ES's pointless so an upgraded was very much needed. The ES's are def worth the 299 but there is also the M6 available for around the same which is better.

The es's have decent midbass ouput but the m6 has alot more output compared. The M6 has around double the xmax.

The Es has a much better midrange for sound quality compared to the m6, this is what the tech stated to me over the phone at cdt. i currently have the cdt cl61 and love them but looking to upgrade. I was told by cdt that the Es comps are almost top of the line, just a step below the thousand dollar 07's. i was looking at getting the Es series for my fronts and putting my old set for rear fills.

you mean you have an a6004t? i have never heard of the 8004t.

I apologize. It's the 6004t.
