mono amp

alpine pdx m6

4 channel amp

alpine pdx f6 - still debating

will a alpine pdx f6 which puts out 150 watts rms x4 or more (because alpine pdx amps come with a birth sheet) be enough for these speakers? And is my current build so far any good?

I disagree. I ran the hd-51 5.25" set active on 200 for the mids and 100 for the tweets. You're meaning to only out 150 to each set off 3, plus the crossover would eat up a percentage of that as well. To really bring those to life, bridge the pdx to the fonts and get something else for the rear. I'd recommend 3-400 per side. Doesn't mean you have to use all 400 all the time. But when you crank it up, they won't be starving either.

Better to have more on tap and farther away from the Max the amp can do than to over power and never get close to the amps 100% threshold. Also those Cdt's will perform much better on more than 150 per side after the crossovers rib him of power
