CDT audio

hi everyone, does anyone know anything about CDT? i am thin king about getting the HD-642. anyone know anything about them? have any idea's about what amp i should use for them? if possible i would like to use Orion so my amps are the same.any suggestions would be very helpful. thanks alot!

CDT audio makes very nice speakers from what ive heard. it really doesnt matter what amp you use with them as long as you dont give them too much/too little power. an orion amp would work fine.

I've had a pair of Cambria CA-50, and I currently have a pair of CL-61's....I love them to death. And those are both lower-end models compared to the HD's....

how much did u pay for them gauntlet?

and have u heard infinity or mb quarts? how woudl u compare them?

I paid $90 for the Cambrias (but they were used), and $250 for the CL-61's brand new.

I'm personally not a big fan of MB Quarts....I don't like the tweeters. But MB is one of those love/hate brands. As far as Infinity, I like my CDT's much, much more than the Kappa series components, but it's a toss up with the Perfects...

I've owned Kappas in the past, and my friend has a pair of Perfects.........I like my CL-61's more than the Cambrias....

Those are the same model I originally had, the Cambria series. Very nice speakers. I personally find the Kappa midbass to be very weak.

The Zeb.com is having a nice sale on the high end CDT's.

The ES-620's are only like $450. Something seriously to look into if your interested in CDT.

BTW:
