Cda-9887 + Kca-620m

Does anyone have any experience with this? I am looking to buy a CDA-9887 and want to be able to connect a USB HDD to it. I tried searching, found one thread but it had zero replies.

I have read the reviews of the KCA-620M on Crutchfield, and to be honest, they are not exactly glowing reviews. Hoping some people here have used a HD with the 9887 and have it working well.

I'm actually about to install this exact setup. Should have it in this weekend if all goes well. I'm sure it will work fine. I think the negative reviews you have read are due mostly to user error. (incorrect formatting/incompatible files) You will want to use a usb harddrive that has a very low current draw.
