Anyone have it, or seen it in action? looks like its pretty decent, and its cheap. i need something to tide me over till i can afford an eclipse. LMK what you know, i'll be lookin to order one monday if anyone legit has one for sale, or knows where the best price is.

the 9856 is not that good at all. it's basically a run of the mill entry level headunit. only thing good about it is the ipod interface. other then that it lacks a lot of features. better off buying a unit at walmart if this is temporary. my headunit requirements were 3 preouts and ipod control and basically that is all this has.

It's a solid unit, and the ipod interface is nice.

If you need something to hold you over, this will do nicely

thanks yall.. i read a post by icedteebone in the alpine vs. pioneer thread and it made my mind, i need the 3 sets of outs, but i dont use my ipod hardly at all anymore so i just went ahead and ordered a clarion. eclipses are too much $$ to not have a detach face (cd5000) hopefully this one i ordered will suffice.
