Post up any tips for fixing scratches...would like to not have to buy anything, but if those things really work it might pay for itself after a couple uses.

polish with pledge, brasso, or toothpaste

then copy said cd onto a fresh one.

Toothpaste like Colgate. Plain white, no fancy ****. Wax on, wax off.

Also remember to move in a straight line from the center of the CD to the outer edge, never in a circle. ya at my work i use a buffing wheel and can get most scratches out

Auto paint scratch remover... works like a charm.

I use SkipDR then Meguiars ScratchX and the CDs come out near perfect again...

Back in the day eb games had that CD Doctor. They demoed it for me, and it worked.

They tested it in the console too.

had the skip doctor. worked ok. it more cleaned it good than anything though. took out some surface scratches.
