CD Read Errors (weather)

Quick question. Got a 92 accord with a factory 5 disc Honda changer in the trunk. It functions on extremely hot days 80 - 90 F. Anything below that is pretty much a no go. It simply will not recognize any cds. Simply for reference sake anyone have any idea the technical reasoning for something like this ? thanks

I have a clarion head unit in my car and I have a problem simulator it wont read unit the car warms up for about 10 minutes. Try using a cd cleaner disk in it and see what that dose I have done that a few times with other head units and it cleaned the dirt and dust on the lens.
