cd player problems

So I bought an Eclipse cd5425 on ebay, but when I installed it into my car it does not power on. Everything as far as I can see is installed correctly & I checked all the fuses. I have had a lot of different CD players in my life, even broken ones but never one that would not power on at all. Anyone have any suggestions on what to do, or is it like I suspect & I was taken by an ebay shiester?

Try the reset button, and double check all connections are secure and hooked up to appropriate place. Specifically the power. If it still doesn't work I'd go knock on your sellers door.

Update, did get cd player to power on, but its asking for the security disc. I called Eclipse today & they gave me the codes to reset the deck. Did cost me $30. Oh well @ least its on & working.
