cd player messed up subwoofers

hey every1 today i installed new cd player in my car similar to this thread except mine was 1996 for taurus

so first for some reason when i am playing the music it i flip the switch for the subwoofer now it sounds LOUD i mean it plays the loudest it can play and then it plays the bass (double bass) my cuz said u gotta avoid that because that how u

blow up the wubwoofers so is there anything i have to change i see in the back of the cdplayer that there is 2 red white wires is this what i need to make it work?

i mean when i turn on the subwoofers it plays at full volume even when i dont have music on and it doesnt change but when i play the music it plays at full volume AND it plays the bass too it killed my battery in 40 seconds...

How does it still play with no music. I think your cd player is messed up, not your subs.

what do u mean? cd player volume is down and subs still play? what type of amp?

if your subs are playing with no music you need to change your cd player fluid

check if your rca's to your amp are touching causing a signal to be sent to the amp

I get my cd player fluid changed every 6 months or 6,000 revs whichever comes first..

Are you sure you are not using high level, amplified signal to the sub amp?
