I was in Walmart earlier today checking out some camping equipment and came across a mat that goes under your sleeping bag. It looked familiar so I took a closer look. Its a CCF mat thats 1/2" thick, 6' long, and slightly under 2' wide. Same exact thing as the CCF Second Skin sells for $5 and change. Just figured Id let you guys know before you go drop money on this stuff and pay for shipping on something could possibly be bought locally. I know for a fact when I run out Walmart's the first place Im going.

So is this an alternative to lets say rattletrap or fatmat? I'm asking cause I only used like dynomat stuff. Peel back stuff ya know. So what's the difference between this and Peel back deadener?

CCF is closed cell foam. Your supposed to do 3 different layers. A layer of deadener to stop vibrations, a layer of CCF to keep rattles from the panels touching and what not, and then a layer of MLV (Mass Loaded Vinyl) to keep out road noise.

O ok. Thanks for clarifying that. Never was into deadening much. But I kinda wanna do it right this go around. As it'll be a lot of bass for my little car and I wanna keep it all in the car
