Goin to start my first sound deadening project and am wondering about the purpose of the foam. Goin to put down about 25% coverage in CLD tiles then do a good 50-100% in MLV.

I am reading that the foam should NOT be used as a barrier and as a decoupler. The decoupler part is what is confusing me...is it used on top of the MLV? Underneath it? Around it? TY in advance

Nothing to add to this, Just wanted to say good luck and that I miss MiniDisc. OH!! Is that a Japanese Radio Tuner or does it get stations in the US?

That would be fantastic! Id love to see the skills involved here. It always intrigues me to see some customizing from small and detailed to large...
