Cavaliers **** for Bass response. It isn't a steep peak(sometimes thoughs are easy to correct). It is a wide gradual hump in the upper region. The lows are droned in comparison. I am going to need a healthy set of midbass up front to drop the LP on the sub to 60hz in order to get a good response. My deck doesn't have enough processing capability to remedy this(seriously kicking myself for selling a 9835 now). This is a work car and I didn't want to get complicated with the setup, but if I want more SQ and even response I will have to get medieval on this cars ***. Or I will just have to tame it as much as I can and live with it sigh. Anyone else have sob sotries in terms of SQ from cavs? I'm sure if I was going SPL I could use this peak to my advantage but thats not me.

Oh and worse part is this. I just ran my eiring over the weekend and did a mock install to make sure everything is working correctly, ie looks like shit. All weekend no noises, all week no noises. Today an alternator whine comes out of freaking no where and now I have to tear back into it and find the culprit.

the dash on those things is freakn horrible. I wanted to kick my girlfriend's dash in after her head unit's rca's came out one day. I wanted to pour gas on the whole thing and light it.

all you guys bashing cavaliers just don't know how to use them....i don't do SQ but SPL is no problem (146db+ w/ 1 15" and 1200 @ the kick w/ a TL...ftw)....and the dash isn't that bad campared to a lot of others.
