On the website it says they are rated at 2KRMS daily, is that underrated? I am wondering because I plan on doing 2 18's in my new vehicle and these look tempting...among not being like everyone else and getting MT's or BTL's

They are simply a recomend rating, we look at it as if it was a guide line. Similar to other brands EX. HDC3s are rated at 1kwrms but will take 2kwrms all day.

What kind of powering were you considering?

I have 2 3KRMS amplifiers rated at 1ohm but have been known to be .5ohm daily amps without having any problems....plus I plan to run a HO alt and an external regulator set at 15volts
