My RE XXX12 came in today (with pics)

One word... DAYUM!

This is the beefiest speaker I've ever seen. It's 72 lbs and I knew that before it showed up, but holey kamoley this is one serious subwoofer! RE Audio ain't foolin', ya'll!

There's some speaker artwork on the box so you know it's a speaker. The UPS guy was like, "I bet you were waiting on this, huh?", as he grunted lifting this into my house.

Now, I'm absolutely certain I won't use this. I wanted to keep it just in case the JL 8w7's don't work out... but this thing ss massive! I underestimated the size and weight. But I know some of you would like to see some pics so I took a few. Check it!

Yeah, I'm a bowler. So I know carrying this thing in my trunk with a triple ball bag (~60 lbs), I'll be low riding in my Mustang. Plus whatever extra bowling balls I carry... which to a tournament is usually seven total.

I gotta get rid of this thing. But I don't want to ship it. Anyone in Houston want this thing?

Haha, it's a long story. Basically, I thought it would be a great subwoofer but got scared because I saw some videos of it and they were all serious volume. I knew it was a great sub but it was clearly waaay more sub than I needed. Plus I didn't want to get a monster amp for it. So I opted for two 8w7's to be powered by two Sundown 125.2 amps. Half the weight and half the enclosure and it'll still exceed my expectations.
