im looking for a few cars to sponsor with some car audio stuff. i do custom fiberglass work and sub boxes and stuff like that. all you have to do is rock a sticker on a few windows and you get 1/2 price on all the stuff.

You honestly think that's shipping damage?

I guess you've never touched a piece of MDF or carpet a day in your life - because that's not the shipper's fault, that's poor construction. Probably the worst I've ever seen. If a corner of the box was crushed or some of the carpet was ripped on a side then yeah, I could see it being the carrier's fault. But that's not what this is...

your right, i have never built a box, but i dont think someone would build something that bad and sell it, and think that they wouldn't get involved in a dispute such as this one

i think it would be hard to build a box like that, even if i tried to.... but i sure as hell would be embarrassed to sell something like that, especially for what you paid for it. And the comment a lot earlier in this thread about "trusting a 17 yr old to do good work" thats not so much as a good comment to make. Im 20, been glassin since i was 17 or so, and building mdf boxes since before i was driving, and i have never had a box turn out anywhere near that bad. Just because we are younger, doenst mean we cant do good work.

But on another note, i hope you get your money back!

my first box i built out of 1/2inch chip board when i was 16 looked better than that - probably sounded better too, I think i used the white chaulking for bathrooms as well - HAHA

well now my fears of my first box looking bad are over...thats a shame someone would sell that great way to have more reasons not to trust peoples word...good luck on getting you money back man my sister lives up in boston maybe when i visit her if its not solved ill go knock on some doors for you.
