Carputer - Your Thoughts?

I ended up taking mine out, was too much of a current hog during competitions....and burping it really sucked....I ended up adding a couple of 1 farad caps in parallel to the power supply just to level out the power dips during burps, and that at least fixed the locking up / rebooting problems. Was really useless for the most part, I ended up switching back to my Mp760 for all controls and left the carputer as just another AUX input. They're ok for SQ guys or people who wanna be fancy, but for SPL its a horrible idea....trust me on this, I dumped alot of cash investing in external soundcards like the M-Audio Audiophile ($260 soundcard) and it still didnt help.

he doesnt have a carputer anymore...he sold his tahoe. the dash piece is for sale...with screen i think i'll have to ask him.
