I should be doing this sometime in the future... been looking at it for 6 months now. FINALLY saved up the money!!

Its actually REALLY easy to do.

2 things im good at Computers and car audio, gotta love it!!

Any clue where I can read up on some software like you are using? Looks pretty simple to control, is it?(what about while driving?)

On board soundcard. Probably going to upgrade the soundcard when I get the rest of the audio in order. Right now it sounds decent.

The subforums are different front end programs. I run Road Runner.

Road Runner is very simple to control...press music, and it brings me to all of my music...press movies, it lists what movies I have on file...press DVD, it plays whatever movie I mounted in Daemon Tools...//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

It doesnt have anything to do with driving... remeber this is a REAL computer... just few things that are different... the touch screen and the software that it is used. besides the obvious rear camera and the GPS.

ITS JUST as basic computer... and thats teh AWESOME part about it.

I just wana kno what sounds card he used and if he liked it. I got one right now ive been meaning to use but wasnt 100% sure if it was gonna sound the best.

hmm i have a second computer at my house.... 3200 + 512 ram...... 250 gb hd..... all i would need is a monitor.....and power inverter.... meh.... if i wouldnt have just had a in dash dvd player i woudl contemplate this.... also i have no wireless internet.. and dont intend to use anyone elses

is that 100% safe/reliable? I remember reading about an opus power supply or something back in the day. I think it is dc-ac and then you hookit up to the comps power supply or something like that. ah thats what it was. I was thinking it went to ac and then the regular PS swapped it back....I gotcha.

I see you have a different dc-dc PS, you research it much? How you liking it? Any problems?

It's a newer PSU. Read a bunch of reviews on it and seemed like a good psu. I haven't had a problem with it thus far.

ok thats why it was cheaper......touchscreen is almost neccesary,., who wants to cary and use a wireless mouse? do you use a keyboard

What about start ups and shut downs?
