I have mine set to standby, I turn on the car and within 2 secs I have music.

ok I just reinstalled regular windows. tinyxp was causing causin problems with my centrafuse front end //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif but I'm satisfied I guess.

How do I set my M2ATX to command the cpu to go into standby instead of shutdown? do I just move the wire from power to standbye...I'm guessing so //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

you don't have to do anything with the M2. You have to change you settings in XP to go into standby when the power button is pressed.

btw, centrafuse is gay!

centrafuse is a frontend software. kinda like winamp but it takes up the ehole desktop so u don't see windows desktop //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

there are many frontends out there. Roadrunner, Streetdeck, centrafuse, there are more but I can't think of them.

1. Click the "Start" menu.

2. Select "Control Panel".

3. When the Control Panel appears, select "User Accounts".

4. When the "User Accounts" window appears, underneath "Or pick an account to change", click "Change the way users log on or off".

5. Uncheck "Use the Welcome Screen".

6. Click the "Apply Options" button.

Hey, meglo remember me? I'm that noob that pm'd you a few questions a couple weeks back.

Anyway my carputer is 90% done. I went the no-headunit approach. I'll post some pics

No head unit approach, I thought of it as well, and going with a single DIN pc and the flip out monitor. But, then I'd have to get a bad *** crossover network, with built in line driving capabilities (AudioControl makes what I want) so my amps would get the proper voltage. Then I'd have to get some external radio-type device. So, I just kept my headunit in for versitility, it will come out eventually.
