i need to get my whole carputer setup set out so i can start buying the stuff i need, i know i want some type of internet connectivity, enough space for at least 500 songs and a few movies if possible. maybe if i can hook my phone up to the carputer as a modem that might even work out but i dont mind having wireless also, i need the outputs so i can hook it up to the HU.

If someone can point me in the right direction i would appreciate it, like a online store where i can get everything would be good

LMAO. The closest thing I got to what you need is a $200 set of Monster XLNs from back in '96 (they look like XLNs anyway). They were $199.99 plus tax when i got em. But I paid MUCH less. And the ends are a little damaged (bent). But they're in my truck, and they play **** good. I'm pulling them tomorrow. (they're 20ft.)

look for an HU with an AUX, like an Alpine 9847 like mine, but they dont have their own crossover though like great HU should have, 9847 is just a basic HU

Pullin em because I am going with 100% brand new cables a 2 and 4 channel set. Only problem is, I gotta butt the 2 ends with inputs on the 225 HCCAs so the 4 channel set can get to both, easily.

Internet connectivity comes from Cingular, Spring, Verizon, most major carriers have a Wireless Network Card. I have the Net Adapter. It is the same that they use on laptops. Goes in a 'cardbus' slot. Works nicely.

500 songs? Come on...I got 3,000 on mine, and I have room for many, many more. I have only an 80gb hard drive for now. I'll get a bigger one later on.

For the connecting the cell, I can do that with my nextel phone and data cable, but its not real quick at all. About the same as dialup. The network card nextel has tho, is MUCH faster.
