carpetting/wrapping boxes

Theres lots of techniques.

Router method, recessed side method, fold over n cut seaming method.

They only get perfected by you doing them.

I always used the cut and seam method but its tricky to get corners good and you absolutely need to make perfect seams. im thinking about trying the router method.

Router method is VERY simple and gives good results. You could also do it with a table saw as I only take out around 1/8" of material.

I use the router to take 1/8" x 1/8" off all 4 sides of the side panels:

If that is you in your avatar......you wouldn't stand a chance in the south against a Benelli 12ga

w/e you do, dont try the seam method with suede or any stretchy/flimsy fabric. i started to try it like that and it just didnt make good seams. had to make something up on my own to make the sides look decent because it just didnt line up with the stretchy fabric.
