megalomaniac, I meant that only xenarcs offer transreflective models. If you don't get a transreflective model, than the differences between brands aren't much.

I've had the same lilli monitor for over a year and its been though -10 to 100 degree temperatures, a constant pounding from my subwoofer, and daily use. Not a single problem so far. I've probably taken it apart 50 times and reassembled it while working on it and every screw still fits perfectly. I even left it in my garage one night and completely covered it in bondo dust accidentally, didn't effect anything.

actually I was wrong, apparently only lilliputs come in transreflective, the transreflective xenarcs I've seen were just people who purchased an upgrade for their monitor.

Nope I have the old *** M1K, not the 10K

I don't think mp3car carries it anymore, it was $115 a year ago when I bought it

yeah it's not exactly a beast. It handles RR, GPS, Videos and music just fine, but I definitely want to upgrade. It slows down considerably on GPS or video playback, and the first time I load up my music library it takes about 5 seconds.
