Oh he11 ...... My wife likes the music she hears in after hours style dance clubs , mostly inhabited by today's youth , and often seen in movies. Yes there is. What you are looking for is not house music but break-beat or trance. You have to be careful about trance though, the slower stuff will put you to sleep. Here are some that I listen to on most daily cruizing...

Bassic might not be exactly what shes lookin for -- its more complicated than your average techno -- lots of musical information

Deftones... is just cool but not quite in this category -- she may like it newho...
