I got a pair of D.C. Audio lvl 3's with AR cone upgrade along with the carbon fiber caps... I've been using them for the past 4 months, this afternoon is the 6th time one of the caps have blown off/came loose. I'm using PLENTY of E6000 but I have notice these two caps seem to be a bit "warped"... one is worse than the other... I'm tempted to ask D.C. To send be a better quality pair as these were NOT CHEAP!!! Smh

Any body else have this issue with the D.C. CF caps??!!

ive not seen anyone on here reporting such issues, but i also havent seen anyone on here talking about replacing dustcaps either. if theyre warped, then the seal wont be very solid irrespective of how much glue you use

I always use Amazing Goop (shoe goop is best) to stick caps. If they're slightly warped you'll want to put something heavy on them as the glue sets to keep them tight against the cone as they dry.
