Update on Fi

The sub I got for free with the 'blemish' looks better than some subs I have seen new. If the 'blemish' is the dustcap not fitting perfect and he decides not to give it to a customer, then I am willing to bet all his stuff is top notch. I will post pics with his permission. I am hesistant because they may get into the wrong hands and someone try to say his stuff is messed up. When really, imo, the 'messed up' is still excellent build quality.

I do have a q about the VC. How come it only goes part way up? I assume this is part of the design but is this what they mean by 4" vs 3" etc the height. I always assumed it was diameter, but me = newb who really wants to understand how all this works.

It's just a shorter coil design, the 3" and 4" is the diameter.

JordyO... Shawn and Nick are major helps with the company. Although not specifically on the payroll, they have played a huge part in making Fi a reality and Im sure a big part from them will be played in pushing Fi to great things.

As for "full time employees"...2 including myself. Taking a solid step back from my last company with that, but I can also do things that most cant product wise... CNC is a major help and Ive got the second one arriving the middle of next month. Depending on what series of subs it is, we can crank out from 8-50 subs a day between (me with the build and other with prep and packaging). 8 is if we have lots of custom work on BTLs as machine time eats up the day. But, with good quick change tooling for the parts it makes life much faster. 50 is if we get a big order for something as simple as the X subs. Not China numbers by anymeans... but things are rolling along good so far //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

OK... looks like we have a winner... Psyphoestilic with 5017.6 (Ill take artistic liberty and round up to 5018 nickels... Off by 139 nickels or about a lb and a half.

Again... PSYPHOESTILIC check for a PM.

Thanks and goodnight...

(now I just need to go back and rearead the last 10 pages as I did notice a couple of unanswered questions)
