Kenny... BTL is "built to last". Not for the fact that we are trying to make tough subs, but for one of my favorite Sick of it All records.

JimJ... lots of stuff over the years. Particulrly fond of SEs using 300B, 2a3, or even kt88s. PP EL34 amps. Quite a few different things. Ive got some PP 6bM8 amps for my computer right now that I wanted to go into production on a few years back. Slowly working on a new set of speakers for them. I sold my Hammer dynamics a couple weeks back.

Supa_c... Short for the already shortened hi-"fi" Simply an easy name that doesnt offend many. Didnt want to travel down the branding road like many do with "Ball Smooshers" or acronyms for like " 15" AKTTHFAM v2.1". Simple and easy. Not too mention the last name I though up for a car audio company sucked without being an acronym. Far from my strong suit...

Ive heard the 811s in a couple of amps, but never messed with them. I heard rumor of a 811 OTL amp that some guy did a couple years back that was supposed to murder 300Bs. I cant for the life of me remember more than that about it... Id love to hear those.

Ive had a couple projects collecting dust for ages. One of which is going to be my PP 1000W tube sub amp. Ive got a few MONSTER tubes that would make a ridiculous space heater //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif A wee bit scared of the 2kV I have to run things at, but itd be a heck of a convesation piece. Ill take some pics of stuff Ive got when I get a chance and post it there. 300Bs were not purchased (I agree pricing is ridiculous for those... especially NOS tubes). I traded lots of drivers for tubes 5-6 years back. Old guys needed a realized they needed a real sub and were willing to trade tubes for them.

Haent paid attention to VTV in a long time. Ill have to look this one up. Sounds interesting.

lilmaniac2... its a specific dialect of French called "Bottlehead"

TheSpeakerMan... BTL is the top of the line sub right now. It looks like it will be the most popular as well. We have other things in the works, but Im figuring they will not go over like the BTL has. Especially with more options in the works for them.

Dont like putting dates out there until things are in stock... but we are looking at probably 5-6 months before the new baskets are available. Based somewhat off the look of the 12 spoke (for a little uniformity beween the lines). Tooling is underway for the 12, but I am waiting to have a proto of it before I OK the 15 and 18. Best not to get too carried away with tooling until I know it is what I want. Its also a company I havent dealt with before... so I want to make sure things are what they should be. This will be an added option to the standard BTL. It will have its pros and cons as well...

Other options will be in before that... 3 months or so (including the internal heatsink)
