You are all thinking of this all wrong. It would be a project that would be dictated by Goob. He would say who gets to build and what product. If you all complain that is just showing how immature the forum can really be. I think it would be a great venture and I do personally plan to discuss it with Goob once he is back from vacation.

The idea of a demo vehicle is to attract attention to the forum. Not the product in the car exactly or the install.

He may not, but he likes money as do us all. More traffic means more vendors or adds which means more money for him. More traffic means more money for vendors. It is a cycle. Demo vehicles are built for a reason to generate revenue for what ever reason or cause.

You really want to attract respectable people and vendors to a site where they have the dome filled with childish antics, talk of gay butt banging, and so much disrespect? Not to mention all the wrong info that gets passed along by people who have no clue what they are talking about?

Yes there are a few on here who are very good at the tech, and great at helping others.....but to sift through all the crap info is tough if you are a newbie.

this is a good idea.. i just dont see it working out, or if it would even get off the ground it would turn into drama and arguements until something bad happened..like all the money/and or equipment gets stolen by one of disgruntled builders... not exactlly alot of maturity and trustworthy people on this site... would have to be very carefully chosen i suppse by goob to make sure the right people are involved...

you could get a little geo metro cheap though and pop a wall in that thing and bam you got a cheap car with something that will draw looks...for the system that is lol..its still a metro but it would be cool.. or CRX... something that can be found cheap

I think it will work one way or an other. I have a few very ideas on how to make this a reality with minimal issues. We will see how it goes in a few weeks.
