Car Won't Start

Just yesterday my 2006 VW Jetta wouldn't start when I tried to start her up in the morning. A quick jump and everything was in order again or so I thought, this morning when I woke up to go to class this morning lone and behold the **** car wouldn't start again without a jump. The question is why would it just start doing this, could my amp have made the battery go bad and it won't hold charge or is it a problem that when I wired up my AVN 6600 i didn't wire it to an accessory wire and have to turn it off manually everytime? I know that when I turn it off manually I hear my amp turning off so I'm not to sure. Anyone have any ideas as to what could be going on?

Sounds like it might be just a bad battery...i know when i worked at the dealership back in tha day we had quite a few batts that were bad right off the truck from the gm plant.....

so bad battery is all we have, is there anything I can do to test the battery and altenator?

go get it load tested im sure that any place that sells will do that for free

well i just got the battery tested at ntb and it said 100% on charge and and whatever else, main thing being that there is no problem with the battery. my dad thinks that I drained it the 1st time and last night it didn't get to fully charge so it ran down again. and another good reason to run auto turn on for multiple sources through a relay--sumptin is ****** up da juice

yea i hear it click off and the light on the amp turns off. I think the other night when I was drunk I went into my car for some cds and maybe turned the screen on and forgot to turn it off which ran down the battery the 1st time.
