Car Towing Prevention ...

umm if the car tilts more than a certain angle the alarm goes off, they have been used for a while
yup most alarms already have these built in its so if the car gets towed the alarm turns off .i guess you could have someone disable the built in sensor and rewire it so it goes off if the car is lifted the alarm goes off although seems kind of pointless as most people would just ignore a car being towed and the alarm going off . i think the money would be better spent on a car tracking device gps locater . no matter what you do to the car to immobilize it ,it wont work they just jack car up and put it on dolleys.

i figured that ... so whats a good tilt sensor or i sthere one compatible with the viper791xv
your viper doesnt have one?//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

my old dodge neons stock alarm had it, & my alarm i have on my van does too.

gets kind of annoying though, b/c a car going fast enough past it. will make the car honk.

thanks for the serious responses ... im gonna read up on the 791and see wtf came in it ... if it doesnt have a tilt sensor, anyone know which ones are compatible or are the best?

pg as in prince georges county in md? if so, i feel for you..in high school we used to scrimage teams down there for football..was bad enough just walking around those schools haha

alarm wont do anything for you. so good luck. Basically the wheel dollies dont require floor jacks. It can be done with 1 person... they slide right on to the wheel a few foot pumps and its up, x4 for each wheel and its mobile. Right on to the trailer, flatbed or whatever. Your only chance is if your vehicle lays frame and you bolt it to the ground..

yes as in pg county lol ... dudes stay wilin around these parts ... my friend got followed home 35 miles and got his car stolen the same night just cuz he had a crown vic ... he had nothing inside or no rims just got it stolen for no reason ... i have about 5 grand invested so im trying to take precautions

http://www.immobilize.com/ we do the powder coating on their stuff. I don't have any experience with their products, but they sell quite a lot.
i like the idea of booting your own car, but it can still be towed. other than low jack, hearing the pager and getting to your car before it's gone with a bat is still the best protection. i live in crackville myself and i keep a sawed off hockey stick ready for deployment.

haha, yooz guyz forgots what I do for a living. I can tow any car at anytime, no matter what you put on your vehicle, without your knowledge.

Alarms with sensors will help safeguard you against the uninformed but pros will still get it. A lowjack will help get it back faster.
