Car speaker installation issue

I have an issue installing my 5.25" speakers to my front door. The factory speakers have an adapter or bracket that house the factory speaker onto them. Then a positive and negative wire connects to a clip input. Heres as link to what the bracket looks like -> Elantraxd.com - Front Speaker Upgrade (Using factory brackets)

but the bracket can't come off the factory speakers and I also can't install my speakers. Where could i find these brackets or what else should i do?

cut the speaker out of the bracket

You can buy brackets, but I make my own. I also use weatherstripping to recreate seals

use the plastic frame to trace a pattern on 1/2 mdf cut it out cut out the opening for the new speaker and drill through the mdf in the stock locations to secure it back to the frame of the door or whatnot

Online stores sell a plastic bracket. Wood is cheaper if you have skill with a jig saw

wood has less of a chance of cracking as well if counter sink holes

Agreed. I use t-nuts for driver mounting. I also coat wood in resin for water resistance. I used to just paint the wood baffle but paint can chip off.
