not everyone needs to go all out the first time, yeah you can drop $5k+ just in bagging a mini truck, but not everyone needs or can do that.
heres a basic kit, which would be fine

yeah, its just one 5gal tank, 1 viair 480, but thats all I would need. shit, i wouldnt even want side to side, just front and back, so only 4 valves instead of 8 in that kit.

and if you catch deals you could probably piece together something for less, plus give yourself about $300 just for bags. so $1k for parts is not unheard of

so $700 for the basic kit, then $300+shipping for bags, a 4 link will run about $375 shipped from SD, then you need brackets for front and rear including a cnotch another $350 shipped, add in spindles for another $200 and if you have an S-10 with over 80K miles a beefed up front steering is almost always needed which SD has a great kit for the price at around $300 shipped.

in total before the steering kit you are looking at $1500+

with HD steering components you are looking at $1800

i think you dont understand what is involved using a basic kit. even if you do your own work, it is a pricey affair
