CAR MOD QUESTION (serious)

ok i have a 2003 denali and ive put TVS in the car, next i plan on doing my system. Ive always wanted to do rims but cant bc i work in construction and my car drives on all sorts of insane terrain that would destroy them.

my question is, is it cool to lift an SUV like this a few inches and put some 15's with 25" tires on??

i seen a tahoe like this earlier and it looked real good. and it was in NYC. seemed kinda cool bc it wasnt in some hick state like tennesee or texas..

There are chrome truck rims that'll take a beating and still look mean on the right tire and car.

With the lift or not, smaller rims can be better than larger.

the highest i can go is 20" and ive looked into the platinum escalade wheels, the 10 spoke ones?? they look tight. but with rims its 2200.. now if im spending a few G's on something i wouldnt just get a set of 20inch wheels id rather get 15s and lift it..

if i went with nice wheels id probably get some 24" asantis for 5 grand but i cant.

i love lifted trucks, like the ram, sierra, f-350... but for suvs it seems like a different ballgame.

im gunna be getting new rims and tires for my van soon. I wana do 33's or 35's on 16's. 25 inch tires are very small just to let you know
i assumed 25" only because my girlfriends pops has an f350 with 20" rims and 35" tires it seems rediculously large.. and also i only wanna lift it 3 inches or so.. anyone have any links?

and if your in construction i would think you are gunna be offroad in the mud and have to get overthing in which case you would need bigger wider tires.

not at all if done right. My old lax coach has a 2000 suburban with a six inch lift, 16 inch rims 35 inch tires all chrome brush guards and a new exaust. Its probably one of the best looking suv's ive seen.
