First Off I would like to let you know that I know very little about car audio installation, but I did take an Electronics course so I know how to bridge connections and wire things to higher or lower impedance levels.

I Have a 2003 Chevy Impala, that came with built in Premium Sound. I Will be installing a Hifonics Brutus amp and a kicker solo baric 15 L7, to the factory head unit. I know how to wire the amp to the sub, and the battery, but not to the Head Unit. If anyone know how please help.

Materials I will be using:

Hifonics Brutus 1205D Rms 1200 at 1 ohm

Kicker Solo Baric 15 l7 Rms 1000

4 gague amp kit

You need a LOC9 Line Output Converter) and you need to figure out which wires on your factory deck are speakers, i could help you out more but i forgot the password to direct techs.

By "premium sound", do you mean a Bose system?

The easiest method will probably be to connect the LOC directly to the speaker wiring at the rear speakers. If you don't plan on replacing the factory radio, there's no advantage to running an RCA cable all the way to the front of the car. Also, many Impalas, even without a Bose system, have a factory amp mounted under the rear deck in the trunk. You'll want to connect your LOC between the amp and the speakers.
