I wouldn't buy that. Pretty much is a junk set up geared towards getting inexperienced to buy for the cheap price

I agree with most of that except for I have picked up very impressive little setups from pawnshops for around $200.

For what exactly? Front stage + sub stage? In my opinion. It takes about $500 for each stage. 500 for a great front stage. 500 for a great substage.

Is this a good package?

Yes but no. That amp doesnt have a subsonic so you cant go ported. Might run the risk of the sub mechanically failing. Get another amp and make sure it has a subsonic filter. Unless your going sealed

If i got a sealed box built for my build, would everything be fine?

also, What do you think would be better? a sealed or ported?

I listen to a lot of rap (

if you wanted an example)
I don't want any obnoxious bass but a nice punch.

I'd personally get Soundqubed Hds200 subwoofers. They're $99 and unbeatable imo.

For an amp go score a used 1400 brx for $140

And if you listen to rap i imagine you want killer bass. Which is achieved through a ported box
