car alarm voice module help! please!!!

I have a viper 5901 system installed. I also have the universal 516L I think voice module added. I've grown up and its really annoying now. Espically going to work and stuff. How can I turn it off. I didn't install the system. I see the voice box with a clip of wires plugged into it. Can I just unplug it without it affecting the system? Please help! Thanks!

I still use the DEI 516V Viper Voice.. "Viper Armed" "Viper Disarmed" "Protected by Viper.. Stand Back". What I do is put a simple 12v toggle switch interrupting power so I can choose to have it on or off. I have the option of either using the DEI 504D Stinger DoubleGuard shock sensor or the DEI 508D perimeter radar sensor. Put it on shock when out & about.. then put it on radar when home.

* I would strongly recommend some type of 1st stage warn away even if chirps.
