Car alarm recommendations?

What do you recommend? I'd like something reliable and affordable. I don't know about budget, I have no idea what alarms run for. I don't wanna get ripped off at the audio store though.

or not.. they have more wires then any alarms on the market with the same amount of functions.. autopage.. i hooked every single one of my viper add ons to my auto page and took 1/3 the time tio install and was about 300 cheaper

I have Viper in my car and I like it. Crimestopper is good too. Ski tek is supposed to be a cheaper alternative. Haven't heard anything bad about them.
