Thought I needed a capacitor for years, finally got one, but then started reading low voltage. Found out the ground wire was loose.
After fixing the problem I turned my system on, but the cap's voltage was low. I know your supposed to charge, and uncharge these things, before and after installations, but I'm not sure exactly what to do.
Caps sortta scare me with all the electricity stored in them.
I've recently been on a kick of blowing-up everything I hook-up.
An Eclipse 8104 sub, an Eclipse 9102DVC Titanium sub, and bought a Cadence 7000+HC(online), which never worked to begin with.
It's not that I've been installing my sh-t wrong, I've just had a problem with my volume knob, I keep turning it up too much!!!
Well, anyhow finally got a nice set-up with my 2 perfect 12" infinitys and Diamond D5.
So, anyhow, I by-passed my capacitor, due to my streak of bad luck, I figured I blow my sh-t up if I keept messing with it.
I'll have to say, I don't know if it really made much difference.
Why use a cap?
