Capacitor

I love how everyone on this forum just repeats what they've heard
OMGzorz! Caps are bad!!! lolz they're useless!

Caps get a bad rap because of they way they're marketed, if you bought an appropriate size cap for your power load it would help more than a battery because it can discharge faster...however most of the caps on the market are crap so instead of saying "Caps are useless" you should say "99% of the caps marketed for car audio are useless" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
what do you suggest then? buying a cap seems a hell of a lot easier than doing the big three anyhow..but if i could get someone that knows how to do it. then i will.

you know **** well that the op was talking about walmart caps....they sell nothing like batcap there:crap:

well it looks like im out of luck then..because i sure as hell am not touching anything under my hood..i would mess something up.
if your goin to wire your own system, then your gonna be under the hood.unless of course youve already moved your starter battery to the rear.

Truthfully I didn't really read what he said, I just came in and saw the hating on caps, lol. But my statement about 99% of the market stuff being crap, definitely goes for walmart...more like 100% when talking about them actually

It sounds to me like you should just save up your money, go to a dealer and have them do whatever to your car. Review the local dealers, see who you think is most reputable, and go with them...

If you're not willing to learn and get your hands dirty, then just pay the local shops to do it.

x2 if your gonna be into car audio, youve gotta take time, learn and listen. and do it yourself, or get locals on here to help u out. if not takin it to a audio shop will mostly end up in a bad job, and alot of cash you coudve used to upgrade.

as long as you disconnect the battery and don't drill into your engine block your pretty safe on not messing anything up. It's basically undoing some nuts, putting on some terminals and tightening them back down with the acceptation of drilling one hole.
