If you do the big 3, it should cost around the same as a cap and be better for the long run. It just takes a little more work.

dont NEED another batt. but its a good thing to look into so u dont kill ulr alt/drain ur starter batt.

caps are worthless. do big 3 in 1/0, and if u plan on going bigger later, get a dry cell. forget caps exist.

so thats what im saying..whenever i get my subs and amp in..should i take it to the local car audio shop and ask them to do a big 3? and what does 1/0 mean? but is that right though? am i getting what your saying here?

takes a little time, but very easy to do. and a good learning experience for you as well. just do it yourself.

OMGzorz! Caps are bad!!! lolz they're useless!

Caps get a bad rap because of they way they're marketed, if you bought an appropriate size cap for your power load it would help more than a battery because it can discharge faster...however most of the caps on the market are crap so instead of saying "Caps are useless" you should say "99% of the caps marketed for car audio are useless" //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

wire size. u could do it in 4gauge but its better if your gonna do it to go ahead and go big the first time and not have to re-do it. car audio shops usually are over priced, and are about as educated as the guys at best buy in the car audio section.
