Capacitor

haha if you say caps work and you try to call someone else a dumb ***....you must be running funky pups....caps are a waste of space, money, time, wire, and everything else. they increase impedence, while decreasing energy flow, and are worthless, when you could use the money towards the big 3 upgrade, xtra bats, etc. told you

FAWKHEAD

I have owned 2 stinger caps, 1 fosgate caps, and 2 Audiobahn (I know) caps.

The 2 Audiobahns were on a 15oo watt system, and although I never paid attention to the voltage, when I removed 1 there was a very noticeable decrease in SQ and loudness.

I also did comparos w/ my other setups and could definately tell a difference.

So stfu and go molest your meth addicted wyoming skanks and let the men have a civil discussion.

Bitch.

haha wow good one. 1500 watts isn't all that big of a draw on one battery, let alone a real setup. why don't you try putting a real draw on your electrical system, and compare your cute little microfarad caps, and see how much it effects your voltage drops then. no reason to get your panties in a bunch because people on this forum actually know something about car audio.

LOLOLOLOL at SQ difference with/without a cap. WOW
So when the voltage drops on an amp does the signal not tend to clip?

I was running two amps; 1 that was roughly 4-500 watts for mids/ highs, and 1 that was 1200+ for my subs.

I promise you it sounded noticeably louder and clearer w/ both caps installed.

It was a sq install, and was set up dam near perfectly. Sounded great and all Audiobahn at that. (Well, at least until one of the tweets blew out).

Oh yeah in a honda civic w/ a tiny alt.

Ha.

Audiobahn ftw

And Caps ftw.

J/K

Kinda

You panties are the only ones in a bunch I assure you

not so much. but i love how it shut u up so quick haha well get back to me when you man up and put a big draw on your electrical system, and let me know which shits the bed first: your amp or your alternator. i got money on the alt....

You fuking worm the only part I read was about getting panties in a knot.

How the fuk can you shut me up when I've already done my own testing that disproves you.

Just drop it.

hah alright well the only proving you have done is my point. consider it dropped, because there is no reason arguing. ask any knowledgeable person on this forum, and see what they have to say about caps. it's common knowledge around here, and you really should do some real research and see what you come up with. i mean audiobahm ftw...rotmffl

ok keyboard warriors back to your corners.. if it works for you cool.. keep it.. if it doesn't for someone then don't use it.. simple.. The mass majority have used them and there isn't much help.. If it helped you that much cool.. Im sure most of those number you provided watts wise were max.. even if rms you aren't pulling that constantly..

ok, ive done some testing with one, my voltage dropped 3v MORE with a cap, than without one. so do you believe me, i did testing too... anybody can say some garbage like that. i dont believe your 10.5v vs. 13.5v at all.

that $100 can buy you a big *** everstart battery at walmart to add as a secondary battery that will work wonders with 1500rms compared to a cap.

What would you suggest i do running over 4kw rms? should i get like a 4 farad cap along with 1 battery up front? will that be enough? lol (since 1,000w needs a 1 farad capacitor according to manufacturers)

You sir, dont know shit.

Only time i've seen a cap used for a good reason was wired to a relay so that when voltage went dropped low enough to shut the amp of, it stayed on

which is a retarded use for a retarded piece of equipment

Buy a battery, leave the caps to those dumb enough to buy em from the snake oil salesmen at best buy
